The Cévennes are a part of me. Strangely though, I used to care less and less about the picturesque high valleys of my hometown, probably because of my implacable desire to travel the world. Sometimes, I even craved to leave this place for good. But I have changed and even if I cannot wait to catch another plane and fly far West – remember, I am moving to Canada in early June –, I am now able to appreciate beautiful things when I see them, whether they are familiar to me or not. This photography represents the most amazing mountain chains you will ever find in Southern France. I love these valleys of mine; they are the ideal place for nature lovers. They have a rich patrimony and architectural heritage despite a terribly violent history that no one can deny. I guess I know where you’ll head to on your next holiday !
